| Treat Confidently, with a Gentle Touch |
As the States and Provinces in North America become more
concerned with sedation techniques and react with new
Guidelines and Standards requiring dentists to attend pertinent
continuing education courses to maintain their licenses, only two
things are missing --- the availability of such courses and sufficiently
trained faculty to present them. There is also the growing need in
our profession to continually update the strategies and techniques
required to safely manage and treat patients with complex
medical conditions and subsequent drug therapies.
It is the mission of Med WoRx and the South Beach Dental Institute
to meet these needs by presenting appropriate courses given by
recognized qualified faculty. |
"We all need to be updated for the same reason we have to renew
lifesaving courses on an annual basis. Our memory changes things.
Because this is one area you can get into real trouble if you do it
poorly, you need to refresh your memory." ~ Dr. Fred Quarnstrom
This two-day course is designed for everyone: general practitioners,
specialists, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, hygienists, and dental
assistants. Sedation and Pharmacology Dentistry covers all aspects
of inhalation analgesia, including the best methods for dealing
with anxiety control. Participants will learn the latest techniques
during an interactive, all-day session that meets the requirements
for nitrous oxide re-certification. If you use any form of inhalation
analgesia in your office, or are considering it, this course will remove
any doubt in your abilities. |
